Gold Bracelet

Gold Bracelet

Gold bracelets have been around for millenia; worn by many simply to improve their looks or social status, but also frequently worn for religious reasons in homage to whichever god the wearer worships. In Ancient China, oriental designs such as the dragon were most commonly used in clothes and accessories, including bracelets. The dragon was known to embody the magnificence of the emperor and was also believed to bring good luck to the person wearing it. Like the dragon, the phoenix or fire bird also represented good luck. Flowers embossed in gold bracelets were also popular among young women. The most common choice of all the flowers was the lotus flower and was mostly associated with Buddhism.
